In the world of RO, weapons and equipment can be upgraded like in other games, and item level matters. Each item uses different stone and there are different success rates as well.
For items used in enhancement, we will divide them into 3 main types: Normal Enhanced Stones, HD Enhanced Stones, and Enriched Enhanced Stones.
1. Phracon - Enhancement Stone for Level 1 Weapons. Phracon can be easily obtained from beginner level monsters, and available for purchase at NPC near the Enhancement NPCs in every city for 200 Zeny.
2. Emveratarcon - Enhancement Stone for Level 2 Weapons. Emveratarcon can be easily obtained from some monsters, and available for purchase at NPC near the Enhancement NPCs in every city for 1,000 Zeny.
3. Oridecon - Enhancement Stone for Level 3 and 4 Weapons. Oridecon can be obtained from some high level monsters. Not available to buy from NPC, and can be crafted from 10 Rough Oridecons at NPC near the Enhancement NPCs in every city.
4. Elunium - Enhancement Stone for all armors. Elunium can be obtained from some high level monsters. Not available to buy from NPC, and can be crafted from 10 Rough Eluniums at NPC near the Enhancement NPCs in every city.
High Density Stones are enhancement stones that guarantee that the item will not be lost if enhancement fails. Can be used with enhancing weapons and armor at +10 or higher. There will be a decrease in refinement level instead of being lost.
Enriched enhancement stones have the ability to increase the chance of success in upgrading items. But there will still have a chance to reduce enhancement level or gone lost if the upgrade fails.
